Bus plunges into Saptakoshi River, all 17 passengers rescued

Sunsari, Sept 26: All seventeen passengers were rescued from a bus plunge into the Saptakoshi River on Thursday evening. A bus heading to Gaighat of Udayapur from Biratnagar fell into the river from the bridge of the Koshi Barrage. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Navin Krishna Bhandari, of the District Police Office, Sunsari, informed that the bus (Ko 1 Kha 4601) had plunged into the river this evening. The nearby station of the Armed Police Force rescued the passengers. 

Bhandari further informed that some of the injured passengers were taken to the hospital. (RSS)
