blog

By Our Correspondent,Taplejung, Sept. 20:The Young Communist League (YCL) Nepal has contributed labour to remove landslide debris that had accumulated in the assembly hall of Phaktanglung Rural Municipality in Taplejung.

The YCL conducted a voluntary labour effort on Wednesday to clear the landslide, which fell off from the area above the Municipality office's assembly hall.

On July 19, heavy rainfall triggered the landslide, which caused damage to the Phaktanglung Rural Municipality office.

The assembly hall, located in a separate building from the main office, had about three foot of debris piled up, which has now been removed.

Phaktanglung Rural Municipality Chairperson Rajan Limbu (Mukti) said that the landslide debris clearing work was led by the YCL Nepal Phaktanglung Rural Municipality Committee.
