Civil servants named for awards

Kathmandu, Sept 7: The government will present the Outstanding Civil Service Award to 10 employees on the occasion of Civil Service Day next year. An announcement of this was made on Saturday.     

According to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, these employees would be awarded as per Civil Service Regulations-2050. The award would be presented on the 22nd Civil Service Day, 2082. The government has been awarding civil servants based on their annual performance every year.     

Those receiving the Outstanding Civil Service Award are Superintendent of Public Procurement Monitoring Office, Kesharmahal, Engineer Ram Chandra Daigal; Province Secretary at Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Karnali Province, Shankar Bahadur KC; Under-Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar, Raju Prasad Guragain; Chief Administrative Officer of Kageshwori Manahara municipality, Kathmandu, Sagar Mishra; Under-Secretary at the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Chuda Raj Neupane; and Under-Secretary at the Home Ministry, Krishna Sapkota.     

Similarly, the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Chiranjivi Nepal; surveyor of Survey Office, Khandbari, Asha Rai; Bunu Rana of Koshitappu Wildlife Reserve Office, Sunsari; and Nil Bahadur Purja Magar of Temperature Horticulture Centre, Marpha, Mustang, would be also awarded with Outstanding Civil Service Award.     

Likewise, the Civil Service Award would be presented to 30 employees working at different offices. According to the Ministry, they are the Project Director of Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multi-Purpose Project, Mitra Baral; Unit Chief of Education Development and Coordination Unit, Dhankuta, Mohan Rai; Chief of District Comptroller Officer, Bardiya, Shiva Prasad Chaudhary; Under-Secretary of Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar, Ananda Poudel; Ramesh Thing of Federal Project Implementation Unit, Kailali; senior crop conservation officer of Quarantine Office, Nepalgunj, Kafil Ahmed; Shyam Kumar Yadav of Division of Roads, Kathmandu; and Ganga Dutta Bhatta of Plants Research Centre, Kailali.     

Under-Secretary (Counselor) of Nepali Embassy in Beijing, Sabita Nakarmi; Chief Administrative Officer of Bhimphedi rural municipality, Makawanpur, Keshab Raj Pardhe; Bed Prasad Khanal of Inland Revenue Office, Baneshwor; Prem Kumar Pokharel of Public Service Commission, Kamalpohari; Shatal Singh Ukheda of Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies; Krishna Prasad Poudel of High Court Tulasipur; Sushila Singh of Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Singha Durbar; Shulikama Kinthep of District Attorney Office, Humla; Uday Prakash Limbu of Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs; and Krishna Bahadur Khatri of Office of the Auditor General, Anamnagar would be honoured with Civil Service Award.     

Similarly, Assistant Chief District Officer in Darchula, Hemanti Saud; senior Auxiliary Nurse Midwives of Dharampani Health Post, Pyuthan, Ram Maya Gurung; senior assistant health worker of Federal Parliament Secretariat, Singha Durbar, Pushpa Raj Rijal; Nayab Subba of Department of National Personnel Records (Civil), Hariharbhawan, Roshani Nepal; Nayab Subba of CIAA, Tangal, Rajendra Prasad Dhungana; Nayab Subba of the Office of the President, Pratibha Kafle; Computer Operator of District Election Officer, Siraha, Ganapati Yadav; Nayab Subba of Humla District Court, Chhata Bahadur Bogati; employee at Kailali District Court, Hira Lal Sunar; light vehicle driver at Ministry of Youth and Sports, Singha Durbar, Man Bahadur Darai; office-assistant at Finance Ministry, Janak Mahat; and office-assistant at Division of Roads, Kathmandu, Tahad Bahadur Jirel, would be conferred the awards.
