PM Oli urged for initiative to upgrade Tarigaun airport

Kathmandu, Aug 24: Political leaders, lawmakers, people's representatives at local levels and leaders of the private sector from Dang district drew the attention of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli about the overall economic and physical infrastructure development along with the need for upgrading the Tarigaun airport. 

During the meeting held at the official residence of the Prime Minister, Baluwatar, CPN (UML) General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel, federal lawmakers—Deepak Giri and Menaka Pokhrel, UML central committee member Ghanshyam Pandey, mayor of Tulsipur sub-metropolis, Tikaram Khadka, deputy-mayor Syani Chaudhary, among others were present on the occasion. 

Receiving the memorandum, PM Oli expressed commitment that the government would pay adequate attention to upgrading the airport and expanding the Lamahi-Ghorahi-Tulsipur road. (RSS)
