Late Giri a seminal thinker: Home Minister Lekhak

Siraha, Aug 22: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has said that socialist thinker and the late leader of Nepali Congress, Pradeep Giri, is an inspiring personality for everyone in Nepali politics.     

Addressing the second Memorial Day event of Giri at 'Giri Ashram' located in Lahan municipality-14 of Siraha on Thursday, the Home Minister viewed, "Giri had thorough and veritable knowledge of society, philosophy and economics. He was a prominent thinker who could guide nation and politicians."     

On the occasion, Nepali Congress central member and former minister Padam Narayan Chaudhary, Minister of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives in Madhesh Province, Janardan Singh Chhetri, President of Madhesh Province of Congress and former Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development in Madhesh Province, Krishna Yadav, Nepali Congress Siraha District President Ramchandra Yadav and others addressed the programme.(RSS)
