By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 28: The Film Development Board (FDB) has released the latest box office collection report of Nepali films.
The board provided gross earnings data up to midnight on Saturday.
According to the report, the action drama ‘Ram Naam Satya,’ starring Biraj Bhatt and Sushil Shrestha, has made a nationwide collection of Rs. 33.16 million with a total of 117,564 tickets sold.
The action–suspense–thriller, directed by Mycall Chand, was released across the country on 10 April.
Similarly, the film ‘Pahad,’ directed by veteran filmmaker Tulsi Ghimire, collected Rs. 6.18 million by Saturday night and has been watched by 19,539 audience.
‘Pahad’ was released nationwide on Tuesday to coincide with the Nepali New Year. The film marks Ghimire’s return to directing after a hiatus of nearly nine years. It also introduces his youngest daughter, Panchami Ghimire, in her acting debut.
