By Amar Raj Naharki, Tanahu, April 27: President Ramchandra Paudel has laid foundation stone of the Bhanu Literary Garden at Chundi Ramgha in Bhanu Municipality-4 in Tanahau.

The garden is being built with a long term goal of making, Chundi Ramgha, the birthplace of pioneer poet of Nepali literature Bhanu Bhakta Acharya an international center of the Nepali language and literature.

Envisioned and initiated by the President himself, this project is taking a concrete form with the current government moving it as a national pride project.

Suraj Shrestha, chief administrative officer of the Bhanu Municipality, said that the construction of the first phase of the garden has been initiated with Rs. 200 million that the government has allocated.

A building, Bhanu building, will be made in the first phase within this garden which in the later course will have replica of major cultural heritage of all seven provinces and statue of Nepali literary legends. Overall, the garden will be developed also into center for research.
