Positive indicators in economy: PM Oli

Kathmandu, Aug 22: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said national economy had witnessed positive indictors in a short time of the formation of present government.     

In response to the lawmakers' queries during the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday, PM Oli argued the big two political parties- Nepali Congress and CPN UML- formed the coalition government in order to frustrate public disappointment and restore hope. The revenue mobilization and capital expenditure upped last month as compared to the same month of a year back, he reminded.     

"The realty business has seen improvement. There is remarkable upward trend in stock market as well. The external indicators of economy are also in positive side. I've seen private sector spirited for investment," PM Oli shared.     

According to the Head of the Government, the work plan that helps to ensure reform in policy, law and service delivery to the people within 100 days of the formation of present government is being implemented.     

In a different note, PM Oli informed that the Damak View Tower of Jhapa district could be used both for commercial and touristy purpose. Government was for immediate operation of the facility, he informed.(RSS)
