Rachana, Shanti Shree performing in the US

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Aug. 12: Singers Rachana Rimal and Shanti Shree Pariyar have captivated audiences in Boston, America, with their performances.

 The event titled ‘Aba Nachchha America’ organised by Fly Nepal, saw models Karishma Dhakal and singer Jyoti Magar also getting the audience excited.

 Following the success of ‘Aba Haschha America,’ Fly Nepal organised the concert to entertain Nepalis in America.

The event, aimed at celebrating the festival of Teej, began in Boston on Saturday with the national anthem of Nepal. 

Following this, Karishma, Rachana, Shanti Shree, and Jyoti Magar entertained over 500 audience in Boston with a three-hour programme.

 Karishma started the performance with a dance to the song ‘Hijo Raat Sapani Ma’.

Rachana Rimal, after Karishma set the mood, performed her hit numbers, starting with the emotional song ‘Namuchhe Aama Dahi Ma Tika’ and later performing songs like ‘Samjine Pani Chhamkine’ and ‘Mineral Water’ to get the audience dancing.

Shanti Shree Pariyar followed Rachana and sang a dozen popular songs including ‘Galbandi Chyatiyo’,  ‘Areli Kandai Le’,  and “Lahure Jane Railai Ma.” Starting her performance with ‘Bol Maya’ and ‘Laun Dajai’.

Jyoti Magar, who concluded the event, also engaged the audience with her well-known songs and dances. She performed popular tracks like ‘Dhaade Biralo’ and ‘Uhi Mulako Chana Uhi Mulako Sinki’. 

According to Organiser Binod Adhikari, the team of singers and models will perform in cities such as New York, Washington DC, Ohio, Colorado, Boston, Pennsylvania, Chicago and California.

 They have planned events in a total of 21 cities in America. The tour will last for about two months, and the team will return to Nepal on September 30.
