Partly to generally cloudy weather forecasted

Kathmandu, Aug. 9: There is an influence of monsoon wind across the country and the low-pressure line of the monsoon is around the normal area, according to the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.    

The weather is partly to generally cloudy across the country this morning, it said.    
Likewise, the Department shared that some parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and one or two parts of other provinces are receiving light to moderate rain.    
Similarly, there will be partly to generally cloudy weather across the country this afternoon.    

In its weather bulletin this morning, the Department said that some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandak, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and a few places of other provinces are likely to witness light to medium rain coupled with thunder and lightning this afternoon.

In the evening, the weather pattern is almost the same as in the afternoon, according to the Department. (RSS)
