By Thakur Prasad Acharya, Myagdi, July 25: The pilgrims visiting Muktinath by bus are compelled to cross the landslide of Baisari, Raghuganga Rural Municipality-2, along the Beni-Jomsom-Korla road of the Kaligandaki corridor at risk because of persistent occurrence of landslides.

The commute in the Myagdi road section becomes perilous in the rainy season because of the landslide as the landslide falls from above the road making it risky.  The debris from the landslide keeps on falling from above the road.

Travel has become dangerous due to landslides recorded in 50 places, both small and heavy, in the Myagdi section alone. The road has been damaged badly as a result of the Kaligandaki River ravelling its way in the rainy season.
