PM Oli congratulates writers short-listed for Madan Puraskar

Kathmandu, July 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has congratulated the writers for being short-listed for the 'Madan Puraskar 2080'.     

Writing on his Facebook wall this evening, the PM congratulated all five writers for being short-listed.     

In his statement, the PM has urged all to develop a habit of reading.     

Likewise, the PM said that he has read Mukam Ranamaidan, one of the short-listed books, and stated that others are left to be read.     

"There have been changes in my habits so far since my adulthood. But the habit of reading is still the same. I read books even if I get a short time," the PM has posted on his social media account.     

Those shortlisted for the award include 'Damphuko Atmalap' by Bhakta Syangtan, 'Mukam Ranamaidan' by Mohan Mainali, Jeevan Chhetri's 'Nun-Tel', Bhavesh Bhumari and Pranita Chamling's 'Bhavlipi' and 'Santras ka Sathi Din' by Roshan Thapa Nirav.     

One among the selected five will be awarded the Madan Puraskar for the year 2080.(RSS)
