Kathmandu, July 10: Nepali Congress
leader Dr Sekhar Koirala has said the NC-UML coalition was imperative for
political stability in the country.
Addressing a programme organized by
the Khagendra Nawajivan Special Education Secondary School here Tuesday, leader
Koirala made it clear that NC-UML alliance would ensure good governance by
providing political stability. He shared that the big two political parties had
agreed to run the government in a rotational basis.
"I'd been advocating for a
stable government and good governance for quite a while, which is not being
realized with NC-UML coalition all set to make correction in constitution and
give boost to national economy," he reminded.
He however said there was no point
in demanding prime minister to resign from the post as he had the right to face
floor test. The next government would be formed as per Article 76 (2) of the
constitution, the leader asserted. (RSS)
