Shooting of Swikar begins

By Our Correspondent,Nepalgunj, June 29: The shooting of Swikar, a feature film, has begun in Nepalgunj following its auspicious launch. 

Krishna GC, the producer, highlighted that the film was a collaborative effort between local entities Sagarmatha Gantabya Media and Sagarmatha English Boarding School. 

The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Prashant Bista, Mayor of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City. Bista expressed readiness to provide technical and logistic support to shoot the film across various locations in the city.

Director Ranjit Rana said the film focused on the themes central to Nepalgunj’s culture, education and health, aiming to resonate well with local audiences. 

Directed by Ranjit Rana, the film is produced by Krishna GC and Laxmi BC.

 Actor Govind Prabhat is featured in a prominent role while local talents Sanu Tamata, Karuna Sunar, Rupak Rokaya, Ankit Giri, Sujan Sunar, Naina Singh Bohra, Laxmi Chaudhary, Deepak Thapa, Jhakkad Thapa, and Khagendra BC, among others are doing the film. 

Ramu Chaudhary is handling cinematography while Laxmi Chaudhary is handling makeup.

The film, expected to run for approximately two hours, will be shot at various picturesque locations in Banke. Producer Krishna GC aims to complete the shooting in a month.
