By A Staff Reporter,Bhaktapur, May 2: An interaction was held on Misa Pasa, an anthology of short stories in Nepal Bhasa by the Chancellor of Nepal Bhasa Academy, Yagyaratna Dhakhwa, in Bhaktapur recently.
At the programme organised by Sirjana Abhiyan, the speakers spoke about the new topics, tendencies and the impact of the short stories in Nepal Bhasa.
Renowned short story writer Dhruba Madhikarmi said that Dhakhwa has impressively written the topics including the effect of COVID-19 and conflict between two different cultures, inquisitiveness about a new person and the happiness of the Dashain festival, in a very easy language.
Critic Prem Heera Tuladhar found the short stories on social issues by Dhakhwa were impressively realistic.
Other speakers, including journalist Jeetendra Rasik, Harigovinda Bhomi, Padmaa Khayargoli also highlighted the characteristics of the book.
Published by Nepal Bhasa Academy, the book consists of 35 short stories on miscellaneous topics.
