Interaction on Nepal-Pakistan tourism cooperation held

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 28. A conference cum interactive session under the title “Pakistan: Geo-Historical Invitation to Tourism” was held at Pakistan Embassy in Kathmandu. 

Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Abrar H Hashmi chaired it. The participants included leading tourism experts and operators from Nepal who were joined virtually by experts in Buddhist outreach and mountaineering & trekking tourism of Pakistan. Ambassador Hashmi in his remarks highlighted the potential of Tourism in Pakistan.

"Today’s conference is part of a series of efforts this Embassy is putting in to build convergences between Pakistan and Nepal," Ambassador Hashmi said in the conference held on Friday.

During the interactive session the participants from both the countries discussed bilateral tourism development and suggested ways to enhance the volume of tourism between Pakistan and Nepal, according to a press note issued by the Embassy.
