Indian national killed after kidnapping

By Janu Pandey, Kapilvastu, April 19: One Indian national was killed after being kidnapped in Kapilvastu district.

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hari Bahadur Oli of the District Police Office, Kapilvastu, a 42-year-old Jamal Ahamad of Pokhar Bhitwa of Siddharth Nagar District of Uttar Pradesh, India, was found dead on Thursday night.

The dead body of Ahamad was discovered at the mosque located at Abhirao, Mayadevi Rural Municipality-2.

According to the Police, Ahamad was found dead and tied up inside the classroom of the mosque.

Ahamad was kidnapped using auto rickshaw from Pipara-Pakadi-Chakkar Choda around 3:30 afternoon on Thursday.

Police received the news of the kidnapping after an hour of kidnapping and went on searching for the kidnapped Ahamad all night long.

DSP Oli said that police have nabbed the main culprit including three other co-conspirators and the investigation is underway.
