12 injured in Kaski jeep accident


Kaski, March 31: As many as 12 people were injured in a jeep accident at Bhadaure of Annapurna Rural Municipality-4 in Kaski district today.     

The jeep with registration no Ga 1 Ja 5547 going to Bhadaure from Pokhara met with an accident leaving 12 passengers injured, according to the District Police Office, Kaski.     

DPO, Kaski's Officiating Spokesperson and Police Inspector Surya Rana shared that the injured were being brought to Pokhara from accident site for treatment.     

Rana informed that the condition of injured ones is yet to be assessed. The accident site lies 29 km away from Pokhara city.     

A team of Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force carried out the rescue operation in support of the locals. Details about the accident are awaited, police said. (RSS)
