Five dead as taxi falls in Trishuli river
Chitwan, March 30: Five persons died after a taxi fell in Trishuli river this morning. Two men, two women and a baby girl died in the fatal accident.
According to the District Police Office Chitwan, the identity of the deceased people has not been ascertained.
The accident occurred at 7:15 this morning near Simaldhara area of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-5 along the Prithvi Highway.
Police shared that the taxi (Ba 2 Ja 4196) heading to Gorkha from Kathmandu fell some 80 metres off the road in the river.
