By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 27: CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli said that the death of Bhakta Raj Acharya is an irreparable loss to the country.
The mortal remains of the renowned singer have been placed at the Academy since 11:00 am today for individuals to pay their last tributes to him. His last rites will be performed at the Pashupati Aryaghat today itself. Acharya breathed his last on February 26.
Chairman Oli said, “Acharya is one of the well-known stars of the Nepali music industry. Bhajan Siromani Acharya, who was able to give a new face to the traditional hymns, popular among the public, an extraordinary contribution made to the singing background, is no longer with us. This is a moment of grief and an irreplaceable loss.”
Chairman Oli said that the late Acharya was able to give a new face to the traditional hymns.
The death of Acharya is a loss of the well-renowned star of the Nepali music industry.
