Suren & Sandesh Revives ‘Chekyo Danda Kuhirole’

Kathmandu, Apr 26: Singers Suren Gautam and Sandesh Shrestha have teamed up to bring a fresh folk-rock version of the song Chekyo Danda Kuhirole. Their collaboration blends nostalgia, friendship, and a new musical style in a simple and heartfelt way. With deep respect for Sandesh, Suren Gautam felt it would be meaningful to work together and honor their shared journey. 

As “Chekyo Danda Kuhirole” was first officially released by Sandesh in his debut album Kunai Bela. The newly released track blends traditional Nepali folk melody with modern rock instrumentation, while preserving the emotional depth of the original composition. The music arrangement and guitar works are beautifully performed by Dinesh Shrestha. The vocal synergy between Suren and Sandesh adds richness and dimension, making the remake both powerful and contemporary.
