Dayarani and Hattichhap released in halls

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Feb. 10: Two Nepali films, ‘Dayarani’ and ‘Hattichhap’ featuring actor Dayahang Rai in the lead roles, were simultaneously released in local theatres on Friday.

‘Dayarani’ stars Dayahang Rai, Deeya Pun, Bijay Baral, Puskar Gurung and others.  

The movie was written and directed by Maoste Gurung.

‘Hattichhap’ features artists such as Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Benisha Hamal, Kamalmani Nepal, Bijay Baral and Buddhi Tamang. It is directed by 

Simos Sunuwar.

This marks the second time since April last year that Rai’s films have been released simultaneously in the halls. Rai’s films ‘Jari’ and ‘Bihepass,’ were released simultaneously on April 14 last year on the occasion of Nepali New Year. 

These two films, grounded in village narratives, are likely to captivate the audience.

In addition to these Nepali offerings, Hindi film ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, was also released on Friday.

 This film belongs to the romantic drama genre.
