Gandaki University expanding international collaboration

Gandaki, Jan 25: The Gandaki University has expanded its relations with several academic institutions of the world in a short period of its establishment.     

The University has signed memorandum of understanding with 28 various renowned universities and institutions across the globe to promote its worldwide partnership.     

Registrar of the University, Dr Kailash Timilsina, informed Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) that the University has committed to the development of various projects and academic programmes, collaborating with the prestigious academic institutions of 12 countries.     

He stated that the University has partnered with world-famous universities as California State University, the University of Central Missouri and William & Mary of America, Royal Holloway, University of London of the UK, as well as Inha University and Yeungnam University of South Korea, among others, in the meantime.     

Similarly, the Gandaki University has signed agreements with Ondokuz Mayis University of Turkey, the Central Luzon University of Philippines, the Metharath University of Thailand and the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University of India.     

Stating that the University's collaboration has expanded in the international sector, Timilsina said topics like collaboration in research, curriculum development, credit transfer and student exchange programmes have been incorporated in the agreements.(RSS)
