Former King Gyanendra Shah welcomed in Pokhara

Kaski, April 24: Former King Gyanendra Shah has arrived in Pokhara on a private visit this afternoon. He was welcomed by his supporters when he landed at the Pokhara International Airport.     

The former monarch was welcomed by the monarchy supporters who were carrying the national flag in their hands. Former King Gyanendra was received amidst the playing of traditional musical band at the airport premises.     

Supporters have formed a Visit Management Committee in Pokhara to welcome the former king and manage his visit.     

Arjun Khanal, a member of the Visit Management Committee, shared that the former king would be staying for a month in the tourist area of Lakeside, Pokhara.     

According to him, during his stay in Pokhara, the former king will visit various religious sites in Gandaki Province.     

Similarly, the visit management committee has stated that the Former King Gyanendra has a schedule to meet various individuals during his stay here. (RSS)
