Maghi, Maghe Sakranti celebration in Tundikhel (photo feature)

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 15: Maghi (Makar Sankranti) festival has been celebrated in different places including Kathmandu today.

The Tharu and the Magar communities organized a special fair to mark the festival at Tundikhel in Kathmandu.

People of the communities attired in traditional costumes gathered in the celebration spot where their traditional cuisines such as Dhikri, Ghongi, fish and crab were placed for sale in the stalls. The communities also showcased their traditional dances.
