Australian man marks birthday with school kids in Nepal

By Our Correspondent,Birtamod, Jan. 9: Rabin Poudel, who has been living in Australia, celebrated his 28th birthday with the children of Kankai Child Education Center of Tribeni Tole in Kankai Municiplaity-4, when he was in Nepal.  

Poudel, who reached the Child Education Centre with his parents, cut down the extra expenses on the birthday and provided the necessary educational materials like copies, pencils and other materials to the children.  

Meena Basnet, the school's principal, said that the financial condition of most of the children’s parents is weak and they have been maintaining their livelihood by collecting sand and pebbles in the Kankai River  Locals said that helping students from poor families with the expenses of birthdays was a good deed.  

Rabin has committed to do something for the Child Education Centre when he comes to Nepal in the coming days.
