By Netra Shahi,Jumla, Jan. 8: Inspector General of the Armed Police Force Nepal Raju Aryal inaugurated the newly constructed No. 33 Tripura battalion office in Jumla. IGP Ayal inaugurated the office building made at Lamra located in Tatopani Rural Municipality-5 of Jumla during a programme held on Sunday.
Speaking after the function, IGP Aryal instructed the Armed Police personnel to focus on facing and resolving increasing security challenges in the growing security threat around the world.
He said that he was blessed and happy to inaugurate No. 33 Battalion in Jumla of Karnali during his tenure and said that the Headquarters is positive to cater the resources for the Battalion.
He also promised that the No. 33 Battalion will be developed by making an action plan in terms of doing activities to protect Sinja civilisation and culture. He expressed his gratitude to the land owner, local government and concerned agencies, along with the entire team of APF of Jumla, for having succeeded in constructing the building here which had remained in a rented land and house.
IGP Aryal gave special thanks to the landowners for providing the land and directed the Battalion to make good use of their investment. Chetraj Joshi, chief of the battalion, presented the progress and financial report of the building construction in the inauguration programme. According to Joshi, the building was constructed at a cost of Rs. 40.52 million.
