Helipad constructed by NA inaugurated, handed over in Dhankuta

By Kokila Bhandari, Dhankuta, Jan 7: The Baghkhor helipad constructed at Dhanakuta Municipality-9 by the Bhimdal Battalion of the Nepali Army (NA) has been inaugurated and handed over to the Baghkhor helipad construction committee amidst a special ceremony today.

The construction is a part of the NA’s people-centric work as the NA has been fulfilling its significant role in initiatives since past for conservation, preservation and promotion of historical, cultural heritages.

Lieutenant Colonel Suman Thapa, battalion commander of Bhimdal battalion of the NA, informed that the helipad was inaugurated and handed over by Brigadier General Ramkaji Thapa, Brigade Commander No. 2 Brigade Headquarters, Dhankuta, of the NA.

The helipad has been constructed by the technical as well as labour assistance from the Bhimdal battalion, initiative of the Baghkhor helipad construction committee, Dhankuta municipality-2 office, DN group of company and the financial help from the local people.
