Shrestha’s ‘Parkhi Base Timilai' to be released from January 12

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 21Two posters of director Deepak Shrestha’s upcoming film, ‘Parkhi Base Timilai’ have recently been unveiled. 

The movie, set to hit screens on January 12, delves into the themes of love and pain. 

‘Parkhi Base’ film is director Shrestha’s 27 films.

Kiran Shrestha and Rakshya Budathoki have marked their debut as actors through this film. 

The director said that the two public posters convey the essence of the movie, with one depicting the love between the two lead characters and the other encapsulating the collective emotions of all the characters.

Describing the film as a pure love story, Shrestha expressed his confidence in the new actors, stating, “I am confident that they will be welcomed by the film industry.”

 Kiran and Rakshya have undergone acting training and are set to make their debut with this project.

 The film, produced in collaboration with Roman Films and Tapashree Films (Sikkim), includes artistes Anisha Rasaili, Shiv Shrestha, Wilson Bikram Rai, Sunita Shrestha, and others.

Rajaram Budhathoki serves as the producer while Komal Gurung is co-producer. 

The story, screenplay, and dialogues of the movie are by Parichhed Sen and Purushottam Dhungel while Sankalpa Bhujel directed the cinematography.

The film showcases the picturesque landscapes of Sikkim and Nepal.

Notably, the movie features a revamped version of the popular song ‘Kaalo Chasma Lau Hai Maiya’ from the film ‘Badalpari’.

 The remake is penned by Surendra Rana and Shambhujit Baskota has composed the music. Pramod Kharel and Milan Newar have lent their voice to the song.
