Patan High Court issues interim order against banning sale of tobacco products in KMC
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 15: The Patan High Court has issued an interim order against the implementation of banning the sale of tobacco products
in the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
The KMC had
decided to ban the sale of tobacco products within its area from today.
A joint
bench of justices Jank Pane and Brajesh Pyakurel today issued the interim order
not to implement the KMC decision taken on 28 November.
The Shreeram
Tobacco Udhyog had filed a case in the court against the KMC decision.
