Customs Department forms probe committee on 14 Kg gold case

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 8: The Department of Customs has formed a six-member probe committee to investigate the 14 Kg gold scam.

The amount of gold was seized from Tribhuvan International Airport last night.

Organising a press conference on Friday, the Department informed that it has formed a six-member probe committee under the chairmanship of the Chief Customs officer at the TIA Customs Office.

Speaking at the press conference, TIA Customs Office's Chief Custom Administrator Tok Raj Pande said that along with the Paudel DSP Prakash Subedi, Customs Officers Dillu Prasad Sharma, Prakash Niraula, Branch Officer Manju Thapa and Customs Officer Lok Raj Dhungana are in the probe committee.
