Possibility of light snowfall today

Kathmandu, Dec 3 : The weather today is generally clear in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, with partial effect of westerly winds in the country.    

According to meteorologist Saroj Pudasaini at the Weather Forecasting Division, there will be partial rain in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces this afternoon while the weather will remain generally clear in the rest of the areas. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and mountain areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces today. 

   
The minimum temperature in Kathmandu today will be 7.5 degrees and the maximum temperature will be between 20 and 22 degrees centigrade.    
Tonight, the weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Sudur Paschim and Koshi.    

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, there is possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Gandaki and Karnali Provinces as well as Lumbini Province.  (RSS)
