All three levels of government need to unite for development: DPM Khadka

Kathmandu, Nov 28: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Purna Bahadur Khadka has emphasized that the three levels of government should work together for the development of the country.     

 Speaking at the inauguration of Chingad festival and sports program in Surkhet earlier today, Deputy Prime Minister Khadka said that the development as desired by the people will be possible if all three levels of government can work together, according to a statement released by his Secretariat.     

On the occasion, he also said that the implementation of federal law has reached its final stage for the full implementation of federalism and the establishment of constitutional rights. Necessary laws such as the Federal Police Act and the Education Act will be passed by the upcoming winter session of the Parliament.     

He said that the current coalition government is working to empower and strengthen the people by implementing the federal democratic republic. (RSS)
