Bhat-bhateni donates rice worth Rs 3.5 mln to quake affected

By Raju Lamichhane, Rukum Paschim, Nov.11: Bhatbhateni Super Market Private Limited has provided food aid to the victims of the earthquake in Rukum Pashchim. 

Bhatbhateni has provided aid to Sani Bheri Rural Municipality and Aathbiskot Municipality through the District Administration Office (DAO).

Binod Bhattarai, Regional Manager at Bhatbhateni Super Market Private Limited, 1,680 shacks of 42-ton Jiramasina rice worth Rs 3.5 million have been donated. 

He said that earlier, Bhatbhateni had already donated Rs 11.9 million to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund. The aid was given so that the shortage of food could be avoided at the second lot as well. It is said that food aid will be given to Jajarkot as well.
