Priority on good governance, social justice and prosperity: PM Prachanda

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov 11: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ claimed that the government like 2064 B.S (2007) will be formed after winning the election of 2084 B.S (2027) with the trust of the people.  

Addressing the fifth memorial program, Newa Luwa: human rights activist and writer Padma Ratna Tuladhar, organized by Padma Ratna Memorial National Academy and Padma Ratna Lumanti Guthi, on Saturday in Kathmandu, PM pointed out the need to win the hearts of people and lead the government even if it is not possible to return to the situation of 2064. 

According to PM, the government has started a new movement and will continue to do so. 

It is not important how long I am seated as PM but good governance, social justice and prosperity for the people is the main thing. The economy has been improving slightly lately because of an increase in revenue, tourism and encouraging remittance.  The status of foreign exchange reserves is encouraging as well. 

The PM said, “The situation of 2064 was different and we cannot return to 2064. The next is 2084 not 2064. I do not know if people will be on our side or win the trust of people or not like in 2064 the 2084. We have started a new movement from the government and will continue to do so. It is not about the post but good governance, social justice and prosperity in favor of people is important. ” 

 “It is pivotal to how good work we initiate. The economy is improving. Revenue and remittances are increasing and the inflow of tourists now is the most in history. The position of the foreign exchange reserves is significant and encouraging.  I will do the gathering after Tihar to solve the problem of economy”, he said. 

The PM said that there is hope that something good will happen in the country. Various forces are active to topple the government.
