By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov.4: Minister of Health and Population (MoHP) Mohan Bahadur Basnet said that free treatment will be provided to the earthquake injured of Jajarkot and Rukum (West).
In a press brief on Saturday, Minister Basnet said that the team of doctors had been already sent to the earthquake spot and another team of doctors along with medicines are kept ready in case of need for future intervention.
Minister Basnet said, “We will provide treatment to the wounded there itself. Only, if the treatment is not possible there, then, they will be airlifted to hospitals with better facilities. There will be no lack in treatment of the injured.”
Minister Basnet holds the ideal that no Nepali will have to die for lack of money for treatment. He also claimed that in this dire situation of natural calamity, no stones will be left untreated for treatment.
He informed that the ministry will move forward with plans and actions on the treatment process advised by the experts following the analysis of the condition of Jajarkot and Rukkum (West).
So far, more than 133 people have lost their lives in an earthquake that struck Jajarkot and Rukkum (West) on Friday night.
