One dies of electric shock in Panchthar
By Radha Luitel, Phidim, April 22: One died by electric shock while cutting bamboo in Hilihang Rural Municipality-7 of Panchthar district.
58-year-old Dambar Yonjan Tamang of Samrewa, Hilihang Rural Municipality-7, died by electrocution, according to the District Police Office, Panchthar.
Chief of the District Police Office, Panchthar, DSP Anish Kumar Karn said that he was cutting bamboo for household purposes and got an electric shock in the course. He died on the spot.
Preparation is underway to bring the body to the Panchthar district hospital after preparing the memorandum of investigation, according to the Police.
