By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Nov. 3: After the commercial and critical success of their two films ‘Jatra’ and ‘Jatrai Jatra’, the production company Shatkon Arts began the shooting of their third instalment, ‘Mahajatra’ in Kathmandu.
The filming has commenced in Kathmandu, and a portion will also be shot in Janakpur, informed Rabindra Singh Baniya, the executive producer and actor. The 45-day shooting schedule of ‘Mahajatra’ has finally begun, he added.
‘Jatra’ and ‘Jatrai Jatra’ writer and director, Pradip Bhattarai, is once again at the helm of this project.
The film boasts a cast that includes Hari Bansha Acharya, Bipin Karki, Rabindra Singh Baniya, Rabindra Jha, Barsha Raut, Arjun Jung Shahi, Prakash Ghimire, Rajaram Paudel, Divya Dev, Suman Karki, Shishir Bangdel, Gaumaya Gurung, Arvin Khadka, and others.
Even before the beginning of the shooting, MSM Entertainment had secured the international exhibition rights for the film. The film is scheduled to be released around the globe on March 22.
Purushottam Pradhan is directing the cinematography of the film while Kaviraj Gahatraj handles the choreography.
