Suren’s ‘Baa Aakash Hun’ tells a different talea

blog

BY A STAFF REPORTER,Kathmandu, Oct. 30: People usually talk about their mother’s love and affection, ignoring their father’s.  A mother’s love is talked about repeatedly everywhere, in movies, in shows and more. Yet, what we fail to acknowledge is the strength of a father which often goes unnoticed. Not many people have their father’s blessing in their lives.

In this context, Suren’s song “Baa Aakash Hun” looks unusual. In the song that Suren recorded and released, he mentioned the struggle and sacrifice of his father towards his family since his childhood. The song also won an award in the category of “Best Modern Song” in the 4th OSNEPAL Music Award held this year.

Popular lyricist Tulsi Basnet wrote the song for Suren and Sandesh Shrestha composed the song. The song has been beautifully arranged by Dinesh Shrestha.

This song symbolises the protective and expansive role of a father. As the sky is often associated with providing shelter, protection, and a sense of limitless possibilities, fathers also take on the role of protector and provider for their families.
