President to visit Janakpur today

BY OUR CORRESPONDENT,Janakpurdham, Sept. 25: President Ramchandra Paudel is visiting Janaki Temple in Janakpurdham on Monday. 

During the visit,  will also inaugurate Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Mithila Cultural Centre in Janakpurdham. 

Meanwhile, Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan City has planned a civic reception programme to welcome President Paudel. 

The Office of the President stated that the programme will be organised at the convention hall of the centre at 1pm and the President is scheduled to inaugurate the centre at 1:15 pm along with the Swasti chanting and the unveiling of the inscription.

The programme chaired by Sita Gurung is expected to be attended by lawmaker Bimalendra Nidhi, Madhes Province Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav, Madhes Provincial Assembly Speaker Ram Chandra Mandal, officials of the Office of the Presidents and representatives of the District Coordination Committee, Dhanusha.

The centre, of which the foundation stone was laid on 2000, is going to be inaugurated after 23 years.
