Talent Hunt of Banke 2023 to be held in Nepalgunj

By Our Correspondent,Nepalgunj, Aug. 26: The Talent Hunt of Banke 2023 is all set to take place in Nepalgunj, Banke. 

Organised by KB Dance Studio Rupandehi, the finale will be held at Hotel Batika in Nepalgunj on Saturday.

The programme’s coordinator, Anju Rasaili, said that the event will feature three main disciplines including dancing, singing, and modelling. 

Highlighting the uniqueness of the Talent Hunt,  co-organiser, Satya Narayan Chaudhary, said that this was the first time a talent hunt of such magnitude is going to be held in Nepalgunj, primarily to offer a platform  to local artists.

Chaudhary said, “We have given special priority to local artists. This event will be instrumental in showcasing their hidden talents.”

Well-known singer and model Durgesh Thapa, along with singer Naresh Budhathoki, are scheduled to perform during the finale.

The organisers have announced cash prizes for the dance category amounting to Rs. 25,000, Rs. 15,000, Rs. 10,000, and Rs. 5,000 for the first, second, third and 

fourth winners respectively.

Discussions regarding the prize distribution for the two other categories (singing and modeling) are still going on, said the organiser. 

The finale will see 40 contestants vying for the top spots. These participants were shortlisted through prior auditions, informed the organiser.
