By Our Correspondent,Rupandehi, Aug. 23:The ruling CPN (Maoist Centre) has assigned responsibilities to its leaders in Lumbini Province for the party’s three-month campaign 'Maoists with People, Special Transformation’.
The party has assigned members of the party’s standing committee, central committee members, office bearers of the provincial committee and its members to make the campaign a success.
A meeting of the party’s provincial committee divided the responsibilities of the leaders. According to the meeting, Purna Bahadur Gharti was given the responsibility of party in-charge in Rolpa district, Kamala Rokka in Rukum East, Purna Kumari Subedi in Bardiya, Kul Prasad KC in Banke, and Jaipuri Gharti in Dang.
Similarly, Nirmal Acharya is given the responsibility of Pyuthan in-charge, Jog Bahadur Mahara in Gulmi, Bamdev Chhetri in Arghakhanchi, Krishna Dhoj Khadka in Palpa, Hakikullaha Khan in Nawalparasari, Ganeshma Pun in Rupandehi and Maheshwor Gahatraj in Kapilvastu.
In the same meeting, the organisational report of all 12 districts was presented by the respective district coordinators.
Leaders Jag Prasad Sharma, Narayan Adhikari and Laxmi Chaudhary have been given the responsibilities of monitoring and schooling the campaign.
District coordinators were also appointed in the districts where the posts had remained vacant.
In Rukum district, Ramsur Budha Magar was given the responsibility of district coordinator, Yuvraj KC was named coordinator in Gulmi and Purna KC in Rolpa, said Nirmal GC, Rupandehi coordinator of the party.
He informed that the meeting also decided the names of municipality in-charges.
According to the party's Lumbini Province president Sudarshan Baral, the leaders, who have been given the responsibility for the campaign, have reached all 12 districts of Lumbini.
Baral said that the preparation meetings of all the 12 districts of Lumbini would be over by August 26 and the three-month campaign would begin on September 2.
