Dynamic Secondary School launches quarterly newspaper

By Our Correspondent,Nepalgunj, Aug. 20: Dynamic Secondary School, situated in Kohalpur, Banke, has started publishing a quarterly newspaper containing creative writings of its students.

The school launched the first edition of the newspaper, titled Baal Sirjana (Children's Creation), through the hands of Mahananda Dhakal, a writer and a member of the Nepal Academy.

According to the school, the newspaper will prioritise children's literature. It will be edited by Junu Bhattarai.

"The newspaper will motivate children towards literature and improve their creative writing," hoped Dhakal.

Over two dozen students of the school also recited poems on the occasion of the newspaper-launching ceremony.

"The main aim of this newspaper is to encourage children towards writing and reading from a young age," said Rabindra Regmi, headmaster of the school.
