People who have arrived from India and settled in Beni participated in the Bolbam Yatra. Organised by the Kawariya Sangh Beni, the Yatris carried water from the Kaligandaki River and walked barefoot to Galeshwordham while chanting 'Bol Bam, Bol Bam'. At Galeshwor, they circumambulated the main temple and offered Kaligandaki's water to the 108 Shiva Lingas there.

Sanjay Thakur, secretary of the Kawariya Sangh, said that the Bolbam Yatra calmed the mind, sent a positive message to the society and brought blessings from Shiva.

He shared that Thakurs who immigrated from India, locals and Hindus from many other places participated in the Yatra.

The Kawariya Sangh organises the Bolbam Yatra every year on the last Monday of Shrawan.
