Teaser of animated film ‘Shalina’ released

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, July 29:Teaser of the computer-animated film Shalina was released on Friday.  

Shalina is a Nepali computer-animated fantasy film produced by Rainmaker Animation Academy. The film was directed by Tejas Raj Joshi. 

Editor of the film Shiva Puri claimed that Shalina is the first feature-length animated movie made in Nepal. It will be released in three languages Nepali, Hindi, and English. Puri and Shruti Shrestha jointly edited the movie. 

The composition and graphic artists of the film are Sagin Maharjan, Abinash Singh Tharu, and Shirbha Manandhar. Shalina will be released by the year 2023. The poster of the film was also released on Friday. 

The film tells the story of Princess Shalina as she teams up with others and starts a journey to defeat the enormous witch.  

It comprised the voices of Benisha Khatiwada, Aditi Gyawali, Aezme Kuinkel, Jharana Rai, Tejas Raj Joshi, Sushil Nepal, Dev Neupane, Shiva Puri, Yubin Pujari, Juna Thapa, Kumar Neupane, Prakash Adhikari, Roshan Bhatta, Sagin Maharjan, Kumar Neupane, Abinash Singh Tharu, Shirba Sayami, Biraj Khadka, Lajana Shrestha, Shruti Shrestha, Sudishna Shrestha, Sunena Shakya, and Krishma Rajkarnikar.
