By Our Correspondent,Humla, July 9: The Adanchuli Rural Municipality of Humla district has endorsed an official logo. The logo, which was created by the locals and depicts the identity of the rural municipality, was implemented by a municipal meeting.

According to Adanchuli’s chairman Mohan Bikram Singh, the logo depicts the cultural, religious, historical and natural resources of our local level.

The logo has the national flag of Nepal, Madana Lekh (the peak of Adanchuli), rivers, forests, hudke dance, deuda, the national bird Himalayan Monal, the Karnali River, Nepal’s map and Adanchuli’s map.

Similarly, the logo also has symbols for traditional crops, apples, shaman dances and roads at the local level.

“The logo will allow us to show our identity. It is a pride moment. An open competition was launched for logo creation. The logo we selected as the official was created by local Bharat Sunar,” said Chairman Singh.

Adanchuli has become the first local level of Humla district, which has seven local levels, to launch its official logo. Until now, only Sarkegard has issued a notice seeking an appropriate logo for the local level.
