Kathmandu, June 14 : Seventy-one heritages damaged by the 2015 April earthquake in the Pashupatinath area have been restored.
Executive Director of the Pashupati
Area Development Trust, Dr Ghanshyam Khatiwada, said the rebuilding of other
three structures is going on. The area falls in the UNESCO World Heritages
list.
However, 16 heritages are still
awaiting the rebuilding works to kick off.
The restored heritages are
Jayabageshwori Temple, Mahasnanghar, Kulanand Jha Sattal, Guheshwori-based Seto
Sattal, Lal Ganesh Temple, Amarakanteshwor Temple and so on.
Ninety heritages in Pashupati area
were damaged by the quake. The reconstruction of the Bishworoop Temple is
taking place under a multi-year contract. (RSS)
