Charity seeks to motivate underprivileged students

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, June 11: Students from Mid-Valley International College organised a charity event entitled "Equipping Little Learners with the Tools to Succeed" at Shree Rashtriya Basic School in Ichhyakamana Rural Municipality of Chitwan district.

They provided essential supplies, including bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, geometry boxes and glue to each student. "The visiting students have demonstrated their commitment to motivate their fellow learners and facilitate a conducive learning environment," said Krishna, headmaster of the school.

He said that the step would encourage parents and students to participate in such noble causes.

Batch 10 of Mid-Valley College that contributed the educational materials to the school children comprised Sumit Thapa, Nikhel Sanjel, Sudarshan Gautam, Mission Upreti, Saman Khatri, Prabin Pathak, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nikesh K.C, Christina Prasai and Mukul Subedi. 

Saurav Rimal, the founder of Karma Yog Foundation, supported the charity event. Rimal's guidance proved instrumental from the initial stages of contacting the school principal to the meticulous planning process, said the students, adding that the charity event aims to bring positive change in the lives of underprivileged children.

"The collaboration between the students of Mid-Valley International College and the Foundation highlights the importance of collective action and compassion in building a brighter future for the young learners," said Rimal.
