Gorkhapatra is pride of Nepal and Nepali people: Prime Minister Prachanda

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 7: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that Gorkhapatra should emphasize the quality and diversity of its contents.

Addressing the 123rd anniversary of the Gorkhapatra and the 61st anniversary of the Gorkhapatra Corporation, the PM today requested Gorkhapatra to disseminate news taking care of the promotion of national unity.

Stating the Gorkhapatra is the pride of Nepal and Nepali, and its credibility is more than other newspapers and Mass media, PM Prachanda requested to fulfil the responsibility by maintaining the reputation. 

At the time of the special ceremony of the Gorkhapatra Corporation PM Prechanda, Communication and Information, Technology (MoCIT) Minister Rekha Sharma and Secretary of the MoCIT Ministry Krishna Bahadur Raut handed over various prizes and honoured the journalists and staffers of the Corporation.
