Journalist Rajak killed as monarchist demonstrators set house on fire

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar 28: Journalist Suresh Rajak has been killed as the monarchist demonstrators set a house on fire in the Tinkune area this afternoon.

Video journalist of Avenues television, Rajak, got stuck inside the building from where he was taking scenes of the demonstration when the demonstrators set it ablaze.

According to the Avenues television, journalist Rajak was taking scenes from the rooftop of the building when the demonstrators set the building on fire.

Rajak’s charred body was recovered from the building in an unidentifiable condition.

Owner of the television Bashkar Raj Rajkarnikar has said Rajak got killed in the inferno due to lack of rescue in time.
